Any value to adding multiple Sympathetic Damage focus?

Here's a question for you other mages out there.

I have one Primary hand item with Sympathetic Lighting V, and another Secondary Hand item with Sympathetic Fire V. When I have both equipped it does APPEAR that nearly every damage nuke cast procs at least one of those two damage focus to chip in a few hundred up to 500 (on a crit) extra damage. But I'm not positive that the overall proc rate really does go up if you wear 2 different Sympathetic Damage focus.

I have not YET seen both go off on the same nuke, which would really seal the deal for me. I would probably make an effort to wear both at once.

Do any of you know, have you already tested if there's a benefit to wearing both types of damage focus at the same time?

BTW, I would have posted this in an equipment forum but it does not appear we have one.

You can only have one proc go off at a time.

That appears to be true but does having more "possible" procs up the chances that you will have one of them go off?

One thing that I think is true: You would rather have one of the sympathetic augments that return mana over one that does damage. But, even the damage augment seems to be better much than one that is just +mana.

Nope, because it's horrible broken atm. If you cast a spell with GoM up and proc the mana return, that's a net gain for casting that spell. This will add up fast if you have 3 of these mana augs. Depending on the situation, I think you can work the dmg augs up close to the same return as the mana aug but the mana aug is just gonna flat win out. And, until HoT launches, the dmg procs are eating up your Flames of Power procs from fickle. boo

Because you said that the damage aug seems better. I guess I should've been more clear or cut out the first half of the quote. It's broken because they don't want it proc'ing on GoM procs, as I understand them. I don't know the numbers, but I'm guessing it would be a break even if the mana proc didn't go off for spells that use GoM and if the dmg aug didn't eat Flames of Power procs. That's what I meant.
