With all AAs, T4 gear and EM7, I was able to solo ( no merc ) HoT trash through MC.

AAs will do more for you than EM8 does, as far as pet survivability is concerned - get them maxed and the airpet will serve you quite well in T4 content.

Having said that, EM8 does make a noticable difference; also, soloing in T4 is not the most productive way to spend your time, as Danille said, because of our limited healing abilities. I do it because I am somewhat asocial, and I like being able to show what an experienced mage can do once the AAs are completed.

Good luck!

Any suggestions on a good t2 named to camp solo/molo? My Mage is my alt,but is t4 flagged, and has the EM8 ear from MC. He is lvl 90, has most rk 2 spells, has about 1700 aa and no Magelo  but has all t1 HOT armour (has t2 Arms/head).
I want to farm some t2 armour, as going straight for t4 is costly. Any suggestions?

I moloed Raze before in the grounds. He is a good one for his aug. His PH is the single rotdog at the hill camp on the other side of the tunnel camp. I don't remember what armor slots he drops. There is another named that can spawn from the heap next to him. If you have moloed other named in T2 this one didn't seem any harder to me. My mage is my main and is max AA but same EM8. Here is a link from alla : http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=35737.

Camp the named in the Well - there are 3 of them, and one of the mana return augs drops there (off Doom Snake). And while you are there you can do the All is Not Forgotten tasks over and over, as well as the kill tasks, to rack up some aa's. Single pulls are pretty easy there.

If not the Well, you can go camp some of the Library named, but single pulls can be iffy given the tight quarters in some spots. Still it is possible to do some there.

Grounds has several camps, the problem at least on Bertox is the zone is camped to death so it's often hard to get one.

Erudin is similar to the Library in that single pulls for a lot of the named camp spots can be iffy. However you can make it work with some patience.

Ground 2 snake-nameds are meele only if I remember well. Head down the north ramp, at the end of the ramp turn right. You see 2 static snakes an a roaming cube. If you follow the wall at your right hand (practically heading back the ramp on the green), passing the maze, you will find another roaming snake and 2 statik snakes. 2 roaming trash and 4 ph. Each of the static snake can spawn as either of the 2 named snakes.
Trash respawn 6 minutes, ph and named around 18 min.
All 6 mobs easy singles.
Grounds usually is crowded. Not easy to get the camp you wish, but if you are lucky you can get some stuff by ooc.

True. It is a great way to gear up, though.

Some good experience can be gained by doing the potion quests. I could solo the quest with merc and a pet using EM8. You gather items and turn in. 4 quests in all and all net you 2 aa's for a quick 8aa's and exp from killing the mobs. Then once you have it done you can do the Welcome to my Nightmare task with a merc (T5), and a EM8 pet or better solo. Just get 1 more person to join you to get the mission (they don't have to zone in), and you should be good to go. I would suggest when soloing it, you take you time and let any aa reset so all are available till you learn it and know what you need or don't need. The 2 far rooms have roaming cubes, so kill them before you engage the mobs. The one roams in the room of the unkown, and one goes near the room of rage.

Tactic is you send on pet on 1 mob, and immediately send in a RS pet on another mob, burn the mob down on your pet and keep sending rs pets on the adds. Once one mob down an EM8 pet with a merc healing can take the beating and just burn 1 more down. Once down to 1 mob, rod, and gather mana, and kill the last mob. Then kill boss of that room. Med to full, move to the next room and rinse and repeat. Once all 4 rooms are cleared, return the the named, hail it, fight it and kill it. It respawns. Hail it /open on chest and loot your reward and nice amount of real exp or AA's.

I solo this all the time, and not hard at all once you get the hang of it. The hardest mob is the mini beast of rage. For some reason it hits a lot harder then the normal mob, so I use twin cast, and burn it. The mini boss of the Unknown is fire immune so load up 2 shock spells and I use magic based rain as well.

Have Fun,

You see Researcher Breoro when you walk into the mansion (on the right). Say to him:

Potion of rot
Potion of rage
Potion of horror
Potion of the unknown

that gives you all 4 collection quests. Good exp on turn in and as a mage should be able to solo it. Her is a link to the quest.

http://home.comcast.net/~mathadon/Guide ... l_M_1.html

You can preloot all the items so stock up and rerun this ever 5 1/2 hours. 8 aa's per all 4 turn ins.

Enjoy,
