About Underfoot Sympathetic Alleviation augments

Anyone know if it works on Hot Spell or not?
I see a topic said it should not works after a patch?
But i still see someone put it in the weapon, anyone know why?

It works on 86 or lower so it will still work on Bolt and Strike. I don't think it's really worth it because it lowers the proc. You'll probably get more mana back with using the new one that has a chance to proc on all spells than with one big one (the UF aug) that has a chance to proc on only one spell. Just my opinion though.
