Can Mages power level?

Coming back after a little break and wanted to start boxing. Was able to get a second account because they are pretty cheap now with all expacs only $20 at amazon. My mage is currently only 84 with 1200 AAs and was wanting to power level up another class. I know SKs and druids are just insane for powerleveling. I hear 1-75 and 1000 AAs in like 12 hours but how well could a mage PL up someone? Should I get to 90 before trying to level up another class? Also never done any PLing before so where would be a good spot to go? I guess Plane of Fire once I can group him with my mage since thats usually empty on my server.

One of my very best friends just changed his main from a Druid to a Mage. He is a casual player and only spends a few hours online each weeek and went from level 1 - 90 (1000AA) in just a few days of total playtime. He did it by completing all the solo missions for his level using the newest expansion possible.

Yes they can Powerlevel... very well.
Simply Pull with Malo ... 20 plus mobs.
Tap every mob wit the lowest level DD or ability using the player to be powerleveled. ( use the cycle through npc key ) or use a low lvl PBAE and hit them all at once...

then Cast your damage shield on yourself and let the mobs kill themselves. all exp goes to powerleveled character.

I powerleveld my enchanter to 56 this way in 6 or 7 hours ( the last few levels take half of that time ). Then the Character can be grouped with a level 80 plus mage and It'll go very very quickly to level 80 plus depending how well you solo with your mage.

An exp potion can be very helpful in the later levels ( 75 to 80 plus ) if you dont mind spending ten dollars. ( get the 25% one, much better deal )
There are a lot of classes which do it better ( druid, enc, sk ) but we do it just fine too... I do my levelling 10 to 35 in crescebt reach, then stone hive to 49 or 50, and gorukar to 56 ( the fairies )
