86+ pets very underwhelming...

It depends on what you want to get out of the game. I still have fun, but I know others have reached their frustration limit and don't. It all really depends on whether you want to solo, group, raid, or be on the bleeding edge of things. If just the first two you probably will have fun...its the raid area of things where a lot of our issues crop up...

I took a long break as HoT came out and have just returned at the start of the year. Having just hit 90 i have to say that my only complaint about the air pet is it's damage. When i came back it was the double xp weekend and so i spent a great deal of time in the warrens PL'ing some alts up to group. The air pet was able to tank 3+ with a level 86 merc with little problem. I only had 1200 aa and my gear was a mix of SoD t4/t5. the only thing piece i upgraded prior to this was my focus. i found a whisper-steel loop in the bazaar for about 10k which has em8 and can be equiped at level 85. This was a massive boon to me.
