Modulation Specialist AA delayed until January patch

Looks like we have some waiting to do.

So.. in the next patch I had created an AA called Modulation Specialist which improved the power of all Mod Rod/Shard type items, but unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be working. I've got a bug into code to investigate.

So I'm going to hold this AA for the January patch to give code time to work on it. Just thought you should know.

It was broken on beta. Two things, it wasn't focusing the mod clicks and after buying rank 1, for awhile but it got fixed before beta closed, it would disappear after rank 1 was bought.

Any update on this? I did not see it listed in the test patch notes for Jan.

Wizards were supposed to be getting DPS increases also, and afaik that did not make the patch either. I would not keep your hopes up, but it could be possible that Elidroth just did not include the changes into the patch notes.

Modulation Specialist didn't make it in, for those who haven't had a chance to look yet.

Eli has posted that he had a death in the family and won't return until next week. Any word about Mod Spec will have to wait until then.

Ok, I finally got a chance to discuss mod spec with Eli. Apparently I misunderstood a conversation I had with him. The mod spec aa got removed from the patch because he discovered it wasn't working after he posted it'd be in January's patch. He has it in with code to figure out why it isn't working.

There is no ETA at the moment.

The benefit from this is still going to be so small, why not just increase one of our other mana regens, perhaps symbiosis, and be done with it.
