Content for a mid 80s trio

Hi gang,
I'm scouring content looking for something interesting and rewarding for my trio of RNG/MAG/BRD in their mid 80s. Do you have any suggestions? I'd particularly like to relive some old content. Rewarding does not mean armor loot, as I'm Tier1 HoT geared and that surpasses pretty much anything prior. I have a few 20ac augs (on tank) and am looking to enchance. My mana augs are around 90mana.

I have up to HoThule. And I prefer not to use mercs (my pet thinks I'm the best cleric, thank you very much), but I will resort to it for large encounters.

This weekend I plan to trio a Plane of Time raid for old times sake. That's the kind of fun I had in mind. I'd love to 1 round Headshot Saryrn!

I haven't been to Crystallos yet, but I think I could handle the encounters with 2 healer mercs. Could I?

I think I can handle up to tier 1 Underfoot. And haven't experienced any SoDestruction content save the trash.

I've also never done any OldManMkenzie missions either and am curious to their mental requirements. I know min 3 Toon, min level 80 is required. Can I plow through those or are 2 brains required?

Keep in mind, my mana pool is around 30k, Ranger Tank's Hps around 40k. But pet often tanks with about 35khp. I'm comfortable with close to 2k AAs on all toons. But anything that quads over 7k will probably pummel me into the floor. Resists all around 600. I am capable of soloing (on mage) HoT yard trash, albeit takes long due to incredible hp's of mobs.

You're not able to use mercs in raids (instance raids like Crystallos) so you'll need to create a healer.

Old Man MacKenzie can be solo'd and torn up with you and a box. Sit the thrid toon in the instance and forget it. They are easy.

mckenzies do not give any exp at all. They are only about getting gear (which is substantially worse than yours)

Round mid 80s I was camping korascian warrens with a necro. To the left, were the golems spawn, should be good for your 3 toons.

I read that Crystallos was unlocked. Isn't there a non-raid static zone? I doubt anyone goes there anymore, I wanted to try the Squires and that notorious Evil Eye on for size.

Not to my knowledge, no. You really aren't going to find any raids that don't require a raid instance since PoT....there are some raid type mobs in certain zones but nothing that are noteworthy. You'll need a healer type to include in your trio if you plan on doing old raid content.

Went and did PoTime with my 83 ranger, 81 shm, and 80 bard. Was fun trying to remember the encounters! But I ran out of time in phase 3 at the last wave, just before avatar/guardian. I lost some time having to evac on 2 bad pulls. And of course lost time trying to figure out the order to do things and what goes where etc. I'll got back when the ranger is 85, can HS just about everything (except undead) then. I expect to plow through until Rallos and Inny then.

Due to their damage bonus those p3 mobs still pack quite a punch!

Fast forward about 2 months later. Got my ranger to 86 (for the headshot level), and went back in potime. What fun I had! Was able to HS everything except undeads, Zek brothers, and phase5 gods. I two rounded Saryrn and Terris Thule! What fun what fun!

I did all the way up to Tallon Zek with 86 Ranger and 81 Shaman. I know this is not a ranger board, I'm getting to the mage part. Anyhow I didn't think I could beat Vallon Zek, and he pretty much stun locked me with his stun and FD proc. It was not fun. After a 10 min engagement and a dead shaman, I remained FD and let him regen to full. It was time to tag out the shaman and bring in the big gun. The mage pet.

With 86 air pet (EM8) tanking, and ranger on archery dps burn, the VZ encounter became laughable. Mage barely had to heal. The two adds went down in 8 seconds each. Why did we ever kite them back in the day? We should've engaged and killed! With VZ down I head upstairs to phase 5 and promptly downed CZ and Bert. No healer, just Rng and Mag.

The hardest event was probably Rallos, he managed to get air pet down to 40% (omg!). Promised rejuve wasn't enough and I actually had to use up Companion's Replenishment. But he went down none-the-less.

Now back in the day Innoruuk was the toughest SoB with his AE fear. And I honestly did not expect to beat him. But I did. Fear only hit ranger once.

And with my luck going strong so far I took on Quarm. Air pet tanked while ranger plinked arrows. A very long fight due to his slow ability, but I was able to cure curses. The adds are annoying but don't hit hard at all. He went down after 15 or so mins.

The loot? Generally crappy, but got a Plate BP mold from Quarm, and a SotP from Saryrn for my paladin. Rest of the Gods' drops was announced in general and some youngins came to pick em up. A Timespinner (ranger proc sword) dropped from Bert but no one came for it. I have yet to see a Songblade drop from Innoruuk. It's a myth. Two loots that have forever evaded me was the pouch from Rallos, and overhaste earring from Quarm.

One of these days you'll get the Saryrn mask which isn't replaceable IMO. I still carry that with me and have it hotkeyed. Once in awhile AA malo is resisted so the mask is used when that happens. That bugger took me forever to get and cost a fortune in DKP but it's seen more use than any other item ever.
