What to add
My mage is my main and I box him with a bard and druid. I was thinking of adding another toon but realize at some point I am ineffective considering that I am not the best multiboxer. The bard is easy and atm I am mostly just singing with the bard and debuffing and nuking with the druid. I am wondering if a fourth toon would be smart and if so, what class would work with my others. Any advice greatly appreciated.

If you are NOT the best multiboxer, and, you are already playing 3 different toons, adding another class is going to take a lot of "multibox talent". If you really want more from your group than just mercs, I might suggest another mage. Mage groups always were and still are the best groups.

Agree 100% - add another mage! If I box at all it is always with 2 or more mages. Very easy to box them and plenty of DPS!
