Boxing 4 Mages , 1 Bard, 1 Merc Cleric

There's a lot of if's to locate the ideal setup.

If the mob can be stunned. All air.
If the mob hits tremendously hard. You want earth tanking.
If you want max dps and mob isn't too difficult; I'd go air and 3 water.
There are a couple more if's too.

Personally, just to cover all my scenarios if I were boxing 4 mages, I'd make 1 earth with rage swords, /spell hold on; 1 air and 2 water (or 2 air, 1 water -- can't really go wrong here).

I have been gone for a while and would like to ask the same question as my op in the context of COTF.

What 4 mage pets would you use for today's content. Would you tank with Earth and dps with 3 waters, or 4 air pets or ???

Also, what do you think of using 3 mages and 2 wiz mercs and 1 cleric merc? What pets would you use for this combo???

Hey buddy, long time no C!

If you are fighting mobs over the level cap that hit hard, use earth.
If they are under the level cap and the air pet stun proc will hit, use air or water.

Thanks for the help. Only question I have now is what is the current stun level breakpoint? My mages are level 100. As a general rule what is the highest level the air pet can stun nowadays? I have one silver acct. and just made a heroic L85 mage. I might be using 5 mages and 1 cleric merc. Too much fun!

Should be level 100 if mob is stunnable.

Not sure if you heard, Tordail passed away 3 days ago. He had another heart attack and never recovered.

So sad. He sure had a tough last year or so.
