Effect of 2 "alleviations" on 1 item?

If you have an item with Agreeable Alleviation 1 on it already, and you add an aug with Sympathetic Alleviation VI, how will they stack up?

I have similar combo in my primary, and my parses are coming in about dead even split between the two going off. The number of times they trigger is also about on par with how often the sympathetic fire effect in my range goes off. As far as I can tell, there's no hard order they go off in, but rather average out between themselves.
