If you have underfoot port to brell's rest and then you can zone into the bottom of the hole from there. I'm not sure if they removed the guardian of the seal, but watch out for him if he's there.

Or you could use my way,
Entrance to bottom of the Hole
In Paineel, walk towards the entrance to the city (Far right when you enter zone). Then you sneak around the corner, walking down to the far right of the Hole. If you do this you will land in the water at the bottom, and take no dmg.
If you miss the water, you will take 20k falling dmg (most of the times).
But just sneak(walk) around the corner to the far right, and you are safe.
You will also land outside aggro range to guardian of the seal. A quest mob, nonkos will stand close to the water.
To get out fo this area, there is a clickable stone (door) to your left when leaving the pool. Be aware that you will aggro 2 gorgyles before you reach this door, and keep your merc up if its your first time down there.
