Extended Swarm - work on RS pet?

Can anyone verify for me if the Extended Swarm AA works on the RS line of pets?

And if not, what's the point of this AA exactly? Seems a mountain of AA to spend to extend the base swarm pet pack a mere 3 seconds.

Ok, you got me on this one. New mage here, only level 75 with 300 aa's, what is "The RS Line of Pets"?

The gargoyle pet spell line started in DODH. It was a GoM-spell. One of several spells for different classes with large mana costs, that can be cast for 1 mana via a GOM proc. It normally has a duration of 18 sec, which can be extended via the Extended Swarm AA (+3 sec).

It's supposed to work with all swarm type pets (rumbling, servant of ro, host of elements, hulking bodyguard, etc) but it doesn't seem to be working currently.

Its a pain and a half to test that type of stuff. It's very, very hard to notice it by either sight or logs. If someone reminds me in a few months, I can parse it up on beta to see if the AA does change the time.

It does. They fixed it a couple patches ago.
