Gift of Everquest

Does anyone know how to "give the gift of everquest"?

I'm trying to gift Underfoot to a friend to coax him back into playing but cant seem to find the link on the SOE site. I know its possible, its something I've done before but not for a few expansions.

A few months ago this came up on the live boards. If you do search, you can find it. This was probably in January or December because people wanted to do gifts for xmas. Yes, January is after xmas but the topic was brought up after the fact as others wanted to but couldn't figure it out. I think it came down, iirc, that you basically have to jack their account and ninja order now. It should be much easier to buy expansions for friends. Hell, sell it in the marketplace for $med Buck$

I called Customer Support and they were able to help me out. Only problem was it took 30 minutes and was long distance .. but hey , i called from work

Also did you know they wont put an expansion on an inactive account? I thought that was odd .... If im gonna throw 40$ buck your way, are you really gonna say no because it wont be able to be used? I thought all the new xpacs came with 30 free days, but apparently thats only for new accounts (so dumb). In the end they gave the account 3 free days to get it active and apply the xpac.
