Mage returning to the game

Hi all,

Used to troll the old forums alot. Been playing EQ since 99, and left EQ this past December due to getting a promotion that required relocation. I finally got settle into my new place, and logged online to find that the guild I was in decided to kick me for inactivity. I played a Druid main with a Mage/Sham/Bst 4-box. I have decided to start over a server that some friends play on. I plan on making a Mage as my main, but haven't decided what I should box with the mage. Reason I am going with a Mage is because I love the Pet's tanking Abilities.

Any thoughts on what classes to 4 box with a Mage would be apprieciated.

Check the thread directly below yours, think he went with mage/mage/shm, you could add a bard to that list and do quite well.

Thanks Wrntyr. I read that post and saw alot of suggestions for a 3 box. mage/mage/shm/bard combo sounds interesting, will have to put that to use.
