I seem to recall a task in TBS that involved killing 4 crystals with a bunch of elementals around them. When I killed them with my wife (chanter) we had issues because of push. Apparently you didn't get a necessary task updated if the crystals were pushed too far before they were destroyed.
Chanter nukes have a fairly high push component, so I was never sure how much of the push on those was from her nukes, and how much was my pet. You can destroy the crystals without getting aggro from anything else there. This seems to me like a good thing to do a pet push test on. Stationary item that can be pushed and doesn't swing back (and thus push your pet back).

It's all hogwash.
The melees are just being lazy. A few weeks ago we did Rott hard and we have a few shamans, about 5 mages, and 5 rangers, a couple of bsts and such. I swear in that burn we had over 100 pets and ~25 or so people hammering away on Rott and he was pushed all over the place. Last week we did it again and the RL reminder everyone not the push the darn mob all over the room.
This time, with the same makeup as above, the mob never moved more than a couple of feet. This was because he reminded melees to be mindful of the push. The pet classes did nothing different.
