Mana regen buff blocking merc heals on occasion

Did they ever figure this out? I know SKlug knew about it months ago via a PM discussion. Wondering if anyone else has this problem:

Two of my healer mercs would not heal me the other day, at all, until I clicked off Cognitive Guardian Rk II. Then they both started to heal me at the same time.

Never had that issue, though I have had probe with heals if I used a mod rod out of combat.

Oh God, it's a running gag in my group. I NEVER get healed by the mercs. In or out of combat they will simply ignore me even if my merc is used.

This is weird. People keep saying this but that isn't right. If I use mod rod during combat, I won't get healed; if I wait for the rest timer and use it, I'll get healed. Is there some sort of combo that effects this?

Remember that Shm canni was patched so mercs dont keep healing every little boo boo? I guess SOE was lazy and tagged the rod as something similar for the mercs.

I thought they based it off of a certain percentage? A 50% drop in health should make a merc heal no matter what lol

Also, canni is a spell cast. Does clicking the shard actually cast a spell?

Ok was strange, molo'd a camp tonight. Merc would not heal me after a mod click. Then I get my clr friends in grp and as soon as they heal me, POW! a PR. Don't understand it at all.
