Returning mage - Potion Belt help

Post by yaladilae »

Hi, I am a returning mage and i level at level 80 (max level then, crystallos was end zone)

Anyway, I have 3 potion belt slot, but with the introduction of Merc, I don't find i need to keep heal potion anymore.

So far I have rod.

What would you suggest for the other 2 slot??? Any interesting clickie equipment that can go into there?

My 95 mage friend showed me a summon minion stick which he said is a 83 spell and also 95, am i missing something?

Look into some shaman made potions that add to or increase fire damage when you cast a fire nuke spell. Those can go into the potion belt. Tonic of Resonant Fire I think it's called. They also make one that acts like a ghetto BST buff, with mana and hp regen.

Oh I see now why my first post did not seem to appear - posts have to be moderator approved. Hopefully that is only because I am new to these boards and not a blanket policy.

I always try to keep a Worlu's Windcloak (short duration improved invis clicky) in a potion belt slot. Seldom need it, but nice for when I do.

I stopped using potion belt once we could click from bag. I just resze an action bar and put wahtever I feel like in its place. Potion belt can be limited in slot depending on your gear. I think I have 6 slots of a action bar visableon the screen and rest drug off. I put immediate action stuff here, so anythign that is a buff I store in another bar.

Ahh, i wish i can stop using potion bar, it seems unless you own VoA, you can't click from bag, even as a gold member

Yes, the windcloak (sometimes get it when you use your cauldron spell) is the same as Rogue SoS (someone please correct me if I am wrong). Anyway, VERY few mobs see through it, unlike our "perfected invis" AA, which any regular see invis mob can see through.
