I use acorn of spite in my main hand. A poison proc on spell cast. High on its resist mod. I'd also inquire about a type 3 just like that from bells rest silver token vendor for your range item. Or something like the bark of the grove for alleviating burst if you don't have it on your main hand already.

Personally I use the 10% dodge type 8 instead. I forget name. I lose a small amout of mana but the extra raw dodge skill is nice for casters. I haven't done any parses to show data but considering I'm a raid mage id rather have even a slight chance to avoid an incoming attk than anything.

I've seen a few posts about multiple spell proc augs somewhere but I did a little test with 2 in my main hand and only saw 1 proc occur. Haven't tried the range item yet, or my parse could be wrong. I'd like to hear details about that.
