Pet sticking around after you log out

Did I miss something or do pets stay around forever when you log out. I have persistent minion but forgot to suspend my pet when i camped. When I logged back on this morning my pet was still around. Is this a bug or a new awesome feature?

If so, Hurray! No more forgetting to suspend, and no more having to run to the shroud lady on my beastlord to save his decked out pets

Yes, pets will stick around now even when logged out. So you can have 2 fully buffed pets when you log in next.
