LoL Voragath, you sound exactly like i did last year when Wire posted on the multi-bind weave and guys were listing all kinds of parse numbers that were hard to believe.Voragath wrote:Ok, seriously..wtf? What are you using Zac? Group makeup? I don't have the evo stone and the best I get, if lucky, is a chanter in my group so I only average about 5.5k. I've hit 7k but it's rare and not consistent with events. I weave the same lineup with the same strat as everyone else, have tower arms, head and bp, tier 5 group legs, max spell dmg aa's (except the new UF ones), hell, I even still use the OOW BP to get that extra oomph yet I still can't seem to break a 5.5k ballpark average with any set consistency. The only dps aa I'm missing is the host aa's. Is it just that I have the worst group makeup ever?
Well I found out that Wire knows what he is talking about and my DPS has more than doubled, putting me near the top of most of our guild parses.
The one thing that helped me a lot was using GameParse and going to the tab that shows your DPS graph.
Then look at the tab which shows what spells, abilities, RS, pet damage like FBO -- compare the time your sustained DPS was highest with what you and your pets were doing at that time and try to maximize those actions as much as possible by switching up the order in which you cast spells on your Multi-Bind weave key.
It takes so me time to see what works best, but it works.
I will also customize my multi-bind key to each event -- if it is a long fight and i will go OOM, i may not want to chain RS the entire fight so I will take RS off the multi-bind and cast it only on GoM proc.
Just take the time to go over your personal parses and make the adjustments -- it will be worth it.
